Bringing olive genetic resources closer to reeders and growers
GEN4OLIVE is an EU-funded project that aims at increasing olive genetic resources (GenRes) mobilisation and encouraging pre-breeding activities.
Objectives
- Developing easy-to-use tools to leverage the information collected through a smart user-friendly interface that will implement big data and machine learning utilities.
- Involving SMEs through the launching of specific calls and financial support.
GEN4OLIVE has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101000427.
